I want to invite a male platonic friend to shore w/ me and a friend? (19 yo female)?
How stupid of an idea would it be if I 19 yo female invited a female friend and a platonic MALE friend, both 21, to the shore with me? We would be staying in a motel with a living rm area, he could sleep on the couch, while we slept in the other room prob would lock our door . I really trust this guy, but he is a guy, after all. Would it be better if I brought my brother with me, too? Also he might really have a crush on me, but I don't like him that way

One of my best friends is a male and married. People often ask whats going on. The truth two friends that enjoy each others company. At the start he did come onto me and I said no you are married we are friends. For the last 6 months we have trained at the gym and he has respected my wish.I don't have any feelings of attraction for him but I do love him as a friend as he is always there in times of need. I am kinda dating someone that I adore. He is sus but I don't think it's his business.

Have u EVER thought about your platonic female friend s as something more than a friend? I have a friend & I think he's sending mixed signals. I'm not used to having a male friend who isn't " interested" n me. my friend said back in Dec while he was on & off w his ex girlfriend that he just thinks of me as a friend. But he contacts me everyday. Almost every weekend he's suggesting we get together & do something & even asked me out to a movie. One day I had a bad day & he told me he was going to buy me a surprise & he did. it's a shamrock plant I'm big on my Scots Irish heritage . He started a business & his office is not far from me & he asked me to come & visit him at his new office yesterday & acted like he didn't want me to leave. Yet he says things like " the right woman is just really well hidden" & he asked if I might want to work for him one day & then yesterday said he wouldn't date people he does business with. what's up w that? He hasn't made a " move" either. I'm confusd

A couple of months ago I read a book that says people often assume that there's no such thing called a platonic relationship between male and female. ie. there always exists a kind of feeling between the two genders and not just plain friendship after a long time.
