Question: Does any department have the right to break up relationships between male and females?

Two people that love each other, are told that they cant be together or have any contact by the Department of Child Safety...Is this legal, can they do this. Two adults, yes children are involved also, but its the relationship between the two adults

Depends if they are children, yes. If one of them is a child... definitely yes. Is this an age barrier thing? Might want to look up your local laws on the topic.

If the children seem to suffer when they are together, then they are totally within their rights to tell them stay apart.

That can be possible. If the couple are not getting along with each other and there is abuse in the relationship. They are only looking out for the welfare of the children.
