Question: Is there platonic relationship between male and female?

A couple of months ago I read a book that says people often assume that there's no such thing called a platonic relationship between male and female. ie. there always exists a kind of feeling between the two genders and not just plain friendship after a long time. What is your opinion? oh, the name of the book is HOW TO BE A PEOPLE MAGNET, I read that some time ago and couldn't remember the name of its until now

Platonic relationships DO exist ! You can perfectly get on with the opposite gender and have absolutely 0% sexual attraction.

I dont believe that..ive had plenty of male friends, with nothing else...you're not attracted to every man you meet, so saying there isnt such a thing as platonic relationships is way off

This is not true. My best friend is male and i dont have feelings for him at all, he comes across as more of a brother figure. It might be different from a male point of view tho, not sure.

Completely not true. I have several good guy friends, including my sister's husband, and there is NO way I'd ever consider sleeping with them. They're great people, but I value our friendship over some stupid one night stand, and I'm just not attracted to them like that.

No, I don't think so. I've had some male friends and this kind of feeling always emerged which does not always mean that there could be a successful relationship but does mean that there in NO platonic relationship exists between a boy and a girl.
