These links should tell you all you need to know about Kara Oh. Watching the last link was like being able to eavesdrop on a meeting between Einstein and Madame Curie (no, not really).
Aside from her observation, “Eagles don’t have to be bald”, at 3:40 into the recording Kara actually says – Men mating for life is unnatural. This is a reasonable thought even if mainly wrong. Humans in a natural state do mate for life, just not monogamously.
Although wide of the mark and low brow most of the time, there are some surprisingly useful conclusions in the last dialogue. Claiming to be a cultural anthropologist, Kara needs to theorize back beyond early village life which she seems to think gives authentic insights into ‘natural’ human behavior. Unnatural behavior began with village life, and modern life is also village life.
I am left to wonder though if her message, given her conclusions, is really just about teaching women how to trick men into commitment despite them being really, really tricky. A bit like teaching a new cow hand how to round up and pen wild cattle.
Value for money: By an incredible coincidence $37 is the same price as for “How To Get Your Ex-boyfriend Back”. That’s serendipity for you. Take off $27 and it might be reasonable value.
